The Night Garden Moth features an original moth and botanical composition, individually hand embossed into aluminum using traditional metal embossing techniques. Fine lines, raised details, stippling, and curling foliage surround the moth, giving the silver-toned metalwork an almost antique, tooled appearance.
The embossed piece is layered over Umbral Bloom, an original Lilyanne Design pattern filled with shadowy moths, winding branches, leaves, and muted botanical color. Together, the patterned background and dimensional metalwork create a piece that feels part Victorian naturalist study, part modern folk art.
The artwork is finished in a simple black metal frame, allowing the intricate textures and darker botanical palette to take center stage.
Each embossed piece is created by hand, so subtle variations and tool marks are part of its character and make every piece one of a kind.
